To ensure the proper use of laboratories and shared departmental instruments, the following are the borrowing procedures and guidelines:<\/p>

Borrowing Procedures<\/strong>\uff1a<\/p>

  • When borrowing laboratories or shared departmental instruments, permission must be obtained from the professor or the teaching assistant managing the equipment.<\/li>
  • Given that improper or unfamiliar operation of instruments may cause damage, and to ensure user safety, necessary training and assessment must be completed before borrowing instruments.<\/li>
  • After passing the qualification exam, borrowers must schedule a usage time with the teaching assistant and use the instrument within the reserved time slot.<\/li><\/ul>

    Borrowing Restrictions<\/strong>:<\/p>

    1. Undergraduate students are not permitted to borrow fourth-floor undergraduate instruments except for special needs.<\/li>
    2. Teaching assistants and graduate students are allowed to borrow instruments.<\/li><\/ol>

      1. FT Rockwell Hardness Tester<\/strong>: Room 409, Engineering Building 6<\/li>
      2. Precision Experimental Furnace<\/strong>: Room 410, Engineering Building 6<\/li>
