The NCTU Library provides study rooms and discussion rooms, offering a comfortable space for students and faculty who need to focus on their studies or engage in discussions. These spaces operate under a self-service management system and require reservations. Below are the detailed reservation procedures and important guidelines.<\/p>

Reservation Procedure<\/span><\/h3>

Reservations for study and discussion rooms must be made online through the Study Room Management System<\/strong>. On-the-spot reservations are not available.<\/p>

Reservation Rules<\/strong><\/h3>
  • Reservation Time:<\/strong> Reservations are made daily<\/strong>, and bookings can be made up to seven<\/strong> days in advance.<\/li>
  • Opening Hours<\/strong>: Daily from 08:00 to 22:00<\/strong>. Reservations that are not completed within the allotted time will be considered unsuccessful.<\/li>
  • No Overnight Reservations<\/strong>: All reservations are only valid for the same day and cannot be made for consecutive days.<\/li><\/ul>

    Eligibility for Reservation<\/strong><\/h3>

    Those who meet the following criteria are eligible to use the study rooms and discussion rooms:<\/p>

    • Full-time faculty members<\/strong> of the university<\/li>
    • Graduate students<\/strong><\/li>
    • Senior undergraduate students<\/strong> (must present a valid ID)<\/li><\/ul>

      Reservation Process<\/strong><\/h3>
      1. Log in to the Study Room Management System<\/strong>.<\/li>
      2. Select the desired date and time slot<\/strong> for the reservation.<\/li>
      3. Fill in the reservation details and confirm the booking<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>
