You must complete the dissertation defense before graduation as a graduate student. The following is the preparation required for it. <\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • 15 days before the dissertation defense<\/b><\/span>
    Originality comparison: After logging into E3, use the \"Turnitin Paper Online Comparison System\" to complete the originality comparison of the paper to ensure that the paper is not suspected of plagiarism.<\/span>
    Submit the application: Fill in and submit the dissertation defense application form, make sure that the fifth slot on the form has been signed by the instructor. Write down \"Completed Thesis Originality Comparison\" in the blank space and sign it.<\/span>
    \u00b7Confirm the date: Confirm that the dissertation defense date is at least 3 months after the completion of the plan oral examination to ensure compliance with regulations.<\/span>
    \u00b7Apply for the seminar room: Apply for the seminar room in advance to ensure smooth arrangement of the venue on the day of the dissertation defense.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • One week before the dissertation defense<\/span><\/strong>
    \u00b7Make an announcement: Make a powerpoint announcing the dissertation defense. Save it as a PDF file and send it to the designated email address.<\/span>
    \u00b7Notify the examination committee: Send the first draft of the paper and the timetable to each examination committee member, ensure that the appointment letter has been sent as an electronic official document.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The day of the dissertation defense<\/span><\/strong>
    \u00b7Prepare relevant documents: Prepare degree examination score sheet, thesis approval letter, master class learning quality assurance AoL test form and other relevant documents.<\/span>
    \u00b7Collect documents: Go to the department office to collect oral examination score sheets, off-campus committee member oral examination fee receipts, parking tickets and other documents.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • After passing the dissertation defense<\/span><\/strong>
    \u00b7Submission of documents: Submit all documents related to scoring to the department office.<\/span>
    \u00b7Revise the paper: Modify the paper according to the suggestions of the examination committee.<\/span>
