Teaching Assistant (TA) Application Eligibility and Procedures
Eligibility:
Master's and doctoral students in the Department of Materials Science (priority for instrument TAs is given to doctoral students in their first to fourth year).
Instrument TA Application Procedures:
1. Recommendation by Advisor: Each advisor may recommend up to three students.
2. Submission of Application Form: Complete the instrument TA application form legibly, have it signed by your advisor, and submit it to Ms. Huang Xiuyin (Room EF110).
3. Priority Selection: Applicants may list up to three preferred instruments in order of priority and must possess the relevant instrument qualification certificates.
4. Preliminary and Final Selection: After the initial review, the list will be sent to the respective instrument managers for final selection.
5. Announcement of Results: The final list of selected candidates will be announced after discussion and approval by the Instruments Committee.
Course TA Application Procedures:
For course TAs, simply fill out the application form and obtain approval from the course instructor.
