You must complete the dissertation defense before graduation as a graduate student. The following is the preparation required for it.
- 15 days before the dissertation defense

·Apply for the seminar room: Apply for the seminar room in advance to ensure smooth arrangement of the venue on the day of the dissertation defense. - One week before the dissertation defense
·通知口試委員：將論文初稿及口試時間表送給每位口試委員。 - The day of the dissertation defense
·準備相關文件：準備學位考試成績資料表、論文審定書、評分單。
·Collect documents: Go to the department office to collect oral examination score sheets, off-campus committee member oral examination fee receipts, parking tickets and other documents. - After passing the dissertation defense
·Submission of documents: Submit all documents related to scoring to the department office.
·Revise the paper: Modify the paper according to the suggestions of the examination committee.
·Get the approval letter: Go to the department office to get the signed approval letter to complete the graduation process.
