The NCTU Library provides study rooms and discussion rooms, offering a comfortable space for students and faculty who need to focus on their studies or engage in discussions. These spaces operate under a self-service management system and require reservations. Below are the detailed reservation procedures and important guidelines.

Reservation Procedure

Reservations for study and discussion rooms must be made online through the Study Room Management System. On-the-spot reservations are not available.

Reservation Rules

  • Reservation Time: Reservations are made daily, and bookings can be made up to seven days in advance.
  • Opening Hours: Daily from 08:00 to 22:00. Reservations that are not completed within the allotted time will be considered unsuccessful.
  • No Overnight Reservations: All reservations are only valid for the same day and cannot be made for consecutive days.

Eligibility for Reservation

Those who meet the following criteria are eligible to use the study rooms and discussion rooms:

  • Full-time faculty members of the university
  • Graduate students
  • Senior undergraduate students (must present a valid ID)

Reservation Process

  1. Log in to the Study Room Management System.
  2. Select the desired date and time slot for the reservation.
  3. Fill in the reservation details and confirm the booking.

Important Notices

  • Users must comply with the library's reading regulations. Violations may result in penalty points.
